Select either a 10g sample size or a 40g pack of dried mealworms. A perfect source of protein for your small rodent.
 
Details:
Mealworms are a great way of giving the necessary protein needed to small animals but they are quite fatty, so only feed a few each week. This will give them the protein they need without overfeeding.
 
I recommend starting with a 10g sample pack if this is your hamsters first time trying mealworms. Some furry friends turn their noses up at these treats at first, so seeing if they like them before buying a while pack is a good idea. 
 
As with all treats, feed sparingly and always make sure fresh water is readily available.
